Does the Robotow fit?

No. The Robotow does not fit the Cessna 208B Grand Caravan.

Q: How do I tell a 208 from a 208B?

Your registration and the airplane's data plate list the model. If in doubt, send a photo of the nose tire sidewall and we will tell you.

No, it does not fit.

Does not fit. The Robotow does not fit the Cessna 208B Grand Caravan: its nose wheel is too large for the drive drum. The Cessna 208 Caravan does fit, with the Caravan adapter, so check which one you fly. If it is the 208B, better you hear it from us now than after it ships.

Why

The Robotow moves an airplane by turning the nose tire with its drive drum. The 208B Grand Caravan's nose wheel is too large for the drum, so the Robotow does not fit the 208B.

The Cessna 208 Caravan is a different answer. It fits, with the Caravan adapter.

Not sure which you have?

Your registration and the airplane's data plate list the model as 208 or 208B.
Still unsure? Send a photo of the side of the nose tire, where the size is printed, and one of the nose gear straight on from the front. We will tell you.

What to do instead

Grand Caravan operators need ground equipment sized for the 208B's nose wheel. If your operation also flies a 208, check the 208 Caravan in the fit finder.

Running a mixed fleet? The fleet page shows how one Robotow with the right adapters covers several types. Cessnas that fit include the 172, 182 and 206, the 210 and 182RG and the Cessna twins.
