Accessibility

Robotow is built to be used by pilots of every age, on a phone in a hangar as easily as on a desk, and that includes pilots who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, or large type. We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we have done

• Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
• Text and controls meet the AA contrast levels, and the type is large by default.
• Images carry text descriptions, and the videos on this site show the hookup without speech; what they show is written next to them.
• The airplane finder, the forms and the cart are built with labelled controls that a screen reader can read.

We do not use an accessibility overlay. We fix the site itself. If you reach a page or a tool that we have not got right yet, we would rather hear about it than have you work around it.
