Confirm with us. We have not confirmed the Cessna 177 Cardinal or the 177RG yet. Send two photos of your nose gear, one from the front and one from the side at axle height, tell us whether yours is the fixed-gear 177 or the 177RG, and we will tell you straight. With a pant on the nose wheel, it does not fit.

Why

The Cardinal is not confirmed on any Robotow adapter yet, fixed gear or RG.

Our Cessna adapters split by nose gear. The Cessna 1 adapter fits the 150, 172, fixed-gear 182 and 206. The Cessna 5 adapter fits the retractable 182RG and the 210. We have not confirmed which, if either, fits the fixed-gear 177 or the 177RG, so we answer the Cardinal one airplane at a time. With a pant on the nose wheel, it does not fit.
